The Smith Elite series is made in the USA and designed to exceed US ANSI Z87.1-2003 and CE EN166 requirements for ballistic protection. The Smith Elite combat OTW goggles are made to US MIL-DTL-43511D specifications and have been presented to the UK MoD for review for 2010. The OTW goggle is the work horse of the Smith Elite combat eye protection series, combining almost uninhibited field of view with maximum ballistic protection, superior optical clarity and a secure custom fit strap system to ensure a superior and comfortable eye protection system. The OTW tactical goggle field kit comes with anti-fog, scratch resistant coated clear and smoke lenses; face-enclosing frame with flame resistant anti-microbial foam, sleeve to slide over goggle lenses when not in use, 40mm thick adjustable elastic with flexible rotating temples for more sympathetic movement when worn with helmet, MOLLE mountable zip case and instruction booklet. The goggles can be internally fitted with an optional prescription lens insert which is interchangeable between the OTW, OTW Turbofan and AEGIS glasses system. Frame and elastic are of anatomically optimized design for seamless helmet integration and face fit. 3.3mm thick lenses are tapered for distortion free optics and provide 100% protection from harmful UVA/UVB/UVC rays. Spare lenses come inside no-fog cleaning cloth. The colours available are Black, Desert Tan and Foliage Green (ACU). In our opinion, the OTW military goggle is one of the best eye-sealing military goggles to come out recently and is highly likely to be adopted by the UK Armed Forces as main ballistic eye protection for wear with the helmet. Please note that price is for one OTW goggle field kit only.
Available options are: ACU (Army Combat Uniform), Black , Tan .
