The Propper Inc boonie hat or sun hat is sewn to MIL-H-44105B specification. The fat features vent holes to direct air away from head and adjustable chin strap for secure fit. Made in 65% polyester, 35% cotton ripstop, the Propper boonie hats are companion to the original BDU and ACU combat uniforms. Made with the Propper battle tested ripstop Battle-Rip fabric which has become the US military standard for hot weather deployments. Sizes are (inches/cm) M (7.25/58), L (7.5/60), XL (7.75/62).

Nice quality hat. The cut is small. I normally take a 7 1/4 but find the 7 1/2 a perfect fit (I ordered both sizes). The 7 1/4 A-tacs bdu cap by Propper, bought elsewhere, has the same issue - too small to stretch enough. Get the right size and its a great hat. - Submitted by R.D. Cumbria
