Canadian GREEN CADPAT Tunic

Combat tunic in current Canadian digital camouflage pattern (CADPAT). Combat tunic is made in Canada, by a major contractor to the Canadian Department of National Defence. Tunic is made in lightweight original nylon (50%) cotton (50%) fabric which is machine washable. Combat tunic is designed to be worn not tucked into trousers, and has two expandable chest pockets and two expandable waist pockets. All pockets are secured with button down flaps. Additionally, tunic has a drawstring waist and drawstring hem to enable tunic to be made to fit body more closely. Drawstrings are all drawn through rivetted reinforced metal drawstring holes. Rear of tunic features two pleats to bring the tunic in at the waist, thereby reducing the amount of material bunching up around waist area under tactical vests and webbing. Tunic has button cuffs and open collar which can be worn closed if required. All seams are chain stitched for durability, and all buttons are the popular Canadian tape button as ued on all Canadian uniforms and adopted into the British Soldier 95 uniform. CADPAT camouflage is a highly researched and most successful pattern adopted by the Canadian Armed Forces for effectiveness in temperate and sub-arctic climates, copyrighted by the Canadian Government. This is an increadibly light material, ideal for summer months. If you Airsoft, it is ideal for woodland sites. The level of concealment this type of camo offers over DPM or Danish/Swedish paterns is miles ahead. I've used this for about a year and the colours have remained very strong despite many washes.The material has very good breathable properties so you dont find it getting soggy on you. The only minor flaw I could level at this design is the fact it has no pockets on the arms, but I suppose I could take the chest pockets off and add them to the arms at a later date. - Submitted by Andy Williams

Well impressed with the combats, I found them to have a friendly designer fit, not bulky at all. Being in the British Army for 12 years, these combats make a welcome change and they hide well in the woods, when being stalked by a fellow airsoft chap. I'm hoping Flecttarn can source out the WINTER jackets and gortex water-proofs. Being Canadian, they have some real cold winters, so there must be winter jackets in this colour match. - Submitted by Richard Townsend

Excellent for paintball or airsoft during the summer, very lightweight yet durable and the camouflage is extremely good for most woodland areas. I had a seamstress move the chest pockets to upper arms and cover them with velcro for insignia, now its just perfect. I have washed the uniform set several times, cleans very well and I have not noticed any loss of colour. - Submitted by S.H.

OK, my set was held up in customs for quite a few weeks but once cleared were shipped immediately, no fault of Flecktarn, just customs changed their procedures. Right, as to the tunic, as has been said, it is in a very lightweight material, however this does not affect the Cadpat pattern, and is very comfortable to wear during the summer. If you, like myself, were a little bit sceptical over Cadpat's abilities, don't be. Get yourself under shaded green growth and you will all but disappear, this pattern is phenomenal in the cover it was designed for, way, way ahead of DPM and Flecktarn. All Flecktarn.co need to do now is find a heavier weighted smock for the colder months!! - Submitted by Andy Brown
