Genuine British Army issue basha (shelter sheet) in new condition. Measures approximately 2m x 3m in size, this lightweight sheet is used as a screen against sun, rain and wind on operation. It is reinforced at the edges with tough narrow woven webbing, triple stitched with marquee grade cord and rivetted together with brass eyelets. The corners of the basha and the central seam also have loops which can be used to fix the basha to nearby trees, cars or to tent pegs in the ground. The basha compresses to a small area and can be stored in a a pouch the size of the British PLCE utility pouch. The genuine issue basha is treated with infrared resistant coating and impregnated with a waterproofing compound. Extremely versatile shelter with military, outdoor and survival applications.
