The ripstop short brimmed boonie bush hat is based on the cut down British Army issue bush hat, popular with British soldiers and special forces. The hat is cut to sit high on the head with a short, 30mm brim so as not to interfere with shooting when prone. The short brimmed boonie hat is made from 100% cotton ripstop fabric and has loops in camouflage around the sweat band for insertion of additional camouflage material. The hat is fitted with a chin strap that may be removed if required without modifying the hat. The chinstrap is fitted with an adjustable plastic toggle.
