Genuine British Army issue goretex DPM gaiters. Gaiters are an essential part of kit when walking through wet and muddy terrain. The goretex DPM gaiters are constructed with a cordura shell for durability even through thorn, bramble and many similar abrasive surfaces. These are elasticated internally along the bottom edge and around the ankle. To prevent riding up, these have an extra long pair of steel and rubber straps to fix the gaiter securely around the boot, also aided by a pair of hooks located in the front for fixing around the front lace of the boot. The gaiters zip up and are protected by a velcro-down baffle along the entire length of the opening. The top can be drawn together with drawstring and toggle for a more secure fit.
