The British DPM 40mm Grenade Pouch holds four 40mm grenades side by side in individual pockets. The pouch is primarily designed to be mounted on a duty belt or PLCE belt, but the belt loops are assembled in such a way as to allow for vertical mounting as well, either on the upright strap of a PLCE yoke, or with the aid of MOLLE adapter straps onto a MOLLE base. The belt loops can be opened with velcro and press button, similar to the standard British Army PLCE loops, and each has a T-bar for fixing into position on a PLCE belt. Each pocket opens with velcro and snap button, and has two settings for the height of the grenade: 10cm and 15cm. The bottom of the pouch is an open construction which is not fixed down to allow the grenades to be slid towards the hand quickly. The open construction also helps for with drainage. The pouch overall dimensions are 18.5x13-15x4cm. The pouch is made of British Army issue military Cordura with IRR treatment and thick PU coating on the underside to protect from dirt and damp.
