If you are buying one of the Bundeswehr flecktarn pattern or olive green moleskin trousers then order one of these belts at the same time. The belt loops on the trousers will only accept belts up to 3 cm wide - which is much narrower than a USA BDU style or British PLCE / 58 pattern wide belt. This belt will fit through the trouser loops. Go for a larger size as the velcro will allow you to shorten. I went for the long size and this is good for my 32 inch / 87 cm waist diameter. Narrow and thin fitting means this belt will not dig into your waist when running or kneeling or if wearing the waist belt of a rucksack over the top. - Submitted by Frank O'Deorain
