The Flecktarn MOLLE double ammo pouch (DBL) from Tasmanian Tiger is part of a new range of Flecktarn MOLLE gear that is designed to be fully compatible with standard MOLLE systems utilisiing 1 inch or 25mm webbing. The mag pouch is made of expedition grade Texamid 1.1 Nylon which is a fabric especially developed by TT for toughness, ease of maintenance, durability, colourfastness and light weight. The pouch is capable of taking two G36 or G3 magazines or three standard NATO, M16, M4 magazines. It measures 20x10x8cm. The pouch is top loading with with profiled, flexible shape. It closes with a contoured lid which covers front and sides to reduce dirt and damp ingress. The lid closes with silenceable velcro and an adjustable quick release buckle. The side of the pouch has an open top, elasticated pocket which can be used to store a mini-maglite, multitool, standard pistol magazine or similar shaped item. The rear of the pouch is fitted with two MOLLE reverse push button straps, two 25mm horizontal MOLLE webbing straps for interweaving into the MOLLE base, and an elastic which can be drawn over the front of the pouch as shown in the picture to reduce rattling of contents. The pouch is designed by military and special forces personnel for functionality and practicality and is part of a range of modular gear used by German special forces.
