The TT Range Pack a Germany Army approved extended volume rucksack from Tasmanian Tiger. The pack is a top loading rucksack with detachable side pockets left and right. The top lid is fully detachable with elasticated sides and has five pockets, both on the inside and outside of the lid which can be used to store documents, ration pack accessories, extra ammunition and other quick access essentials. This is secured onto the pack with four quick release buckles. The main compartment has a volume of 85 litres with additional capacity in an integrated bottom compartment with its own zipper access. The detachable side pockets each have a 7.5 litre capacity. These open with their own zippers and have compression lacing on the front. When detached, they can be zipped into each other to make a 15 litre emergency pack or daypack. The front compartment has a capacity of 10l and helps to subdivide the contents of the main compartment by separating them into a quick access area with access to the main compartment. The rucksack has a specially shaped and developed contoured back system. Called X-1, this features extra deep single piece shoulder padding pieces for each shoulder mounted over the top of a U shaped back which spreads the load over the back as opposed to down the spine. This is integrated into an extra wide hip belt which is also shaped to the contour of the lower back and hips. The shoulder straps are adjustable on the top of the shoulder and under the arm, and are fitted with additional D-rings and a chest tensioner. The hip pad is fitted with a wide, adjustable quick release buckle. This provides excellent comfort and weight spread for heavy loads. Rubber armoured, shaped carry handles are provided at the top of the shoulder and also on the top of the front pouch. The rucksack is made of expedition grade Texamid 1.1 Nylon which is a fabric especially developed by TT for toughness, ease of maintenance, durability, colourfastness and light weight. The rucksack is designed by military and special forces personnel for functionality and practicality and is part of a range of modular gear used by German special forces.
