Professional series Search and Rescue (SAR) H3 traser watch with MIL-W-46374F US Army specification movement and strengthened steel case. This watch is based on the the original Type 3, or general issue watch, which is the US Army watch equivalent of the UK G10. The watch has a steel ring instead of rotating bezel. The face is black, with white hour and minute hands, and red second hand. The Traser H3 marking is present on the face. The case is brushed steel which is attractive and sturdy. The date window is at the 3 o'clock position. The watch comes with an 18mm wide hi-vis orange rubber strap standard, but additional 18mm straps can be purchased to fit onto the watch if desired. Traser trigalight sources are fitted on all traser watches, and they are located on the hour and minute hands, and on each hour. Additionally, the SAR traser watch has a traser light on the second hand. Traser lights work by having minute amounts of radioactive tritium sealed within minature glass vials which are internally coated with phosphorescent compound. With the exception of the 12 o'clock position which has an orange light, all other lights are green - the most efficient and brightest colour. The Trooper H3 watch is water resistant to 100m or 330ft. The glass is sapphire crystal which provides excellent clarity and best scratch resistance. The case size is 37mm. The watch is powered with standard battery and fitted with Ronda quartz crystal. Made in Switzerland.
