The medium MOLLE assault pack in genuine Crye Multicam from kombat is a top loading day pack with a difference. The pack opens with zipper to 50% of its size on left, top and right, enabling excellent access to contents inside. Additionally, the pack has two large outer compartments which also zip open. This allows for excellent organisation of contents for easy access. The pack also has compression straps which are adjusted and fastened with quick release buckles on left and right sides. These go from the front compartments to the rear of the pack, helping to bind the whole pack and contents tightly for comfortable carrying. The front of the pockets on the rucksack and the lower portion left and right also have 25mm MOLLE PALS webbing for adding pouches to the front and sides of the pack. The carry handle is located at the top instead of directly where the shoulder straps are sewn into the top of the pack, thus distributing the weight better when carried by the handle. The pack has a dedicated pocket inside the back for a hydration bladder. Shoulder straps are adjustable at the top of the shoulder for comfort and at the bottom for length. These can be quickly released with quick release buckles. Shoulder straps are padded and fitted with a D-ring each and a chest tensioner. Waist strap is partially padded around the hips for support and is adjusted with a wide quick release buckle. A name card window is provided on the lower back. The pack is made of 1000D Cordura internally treated with polyurethane for waterproofing and stability. A versatile and modular day pack which transforms into a patrol pack quickly and easily.
