Made in genuine Crye Multicam 1000D Milspec Cordura, the Kombat airborne webbing is a fully featured, belt kit based web set which includes the yoke for better load distribution and to prevent the belt order from sliding from side to side. The pouches are mounted via MOLLE onto a padded, extra wide belt, which helps to spread the weight and cushion the hips from any corners and exposed edges. The yoke mounts directly onto the belt at six points, removing the need for specialised clips on the pouches, and adding to the modularity and versatility of the kit. The six point mounting provides extra stability during movement. Pouches are all internally lined with rubber coated tarpaulin grade material to keep out damp and dust. The pouches which are included with the set are: two double ammo pouches with velcro and snap button closing, four single utility pouches with quick release 25mm adjustable buckle, one stow bag with three quarter length zipper which can be used as a medical kit bag, and one bayonet or knife sheath. Each utility pouch has an internal compression bag closed with toggle to secure contents, and MOLLE strapping on the sides. The belt pad is divided into six, sewn in sections which helps the pad to bend around the body and reduce the compression of cordura material where it is bent inwards, thus removing the creasing of material on the inside of the belt. The belt length is 85cm, so the minimum waist size, including all clothing and layers on the waist is 88cm to allow for the size of the belt buckle. Yoke has reduced padding to allow for wear of body armour or bergen shoulder straps over the top without adding too much bulk. Quality grade materials and construction make this kit an excellent standalone order, fully loaded, or with some of the pouches removed to reduce profile.
