The olive waterproof boonie hat is a medium brimmed hat made from 3 ply bonded fabric with a breathable membrane. The hat is patterned after the standard US GI hat with a 2 inch brim, medium crown and webbing band around the exterior which can be used to retain clipped on articles. The hat has two ventilation holes either made from ventilated rivets. The brim is stiffened internally to retain its shape and help move rainwater away from the face. The hat has an integral chinstrap with a leather toggle to adjust close to the chin in windy conditions. Olive can be worn for outdoor leisure or work, uniform and fashion When not required, it can fold away in a pocket. Useful alternative to hoods, with the added advantage of providing sun and rain cover over the face and ears. Sizes M (57), L (59) and XL (61)
