British military issue olive elastic headband, labelled 'Headband, Personal Combat Torch, NSN6230-99-500-4858'. The band is 25mm wide and 700m long, and fitted with an ITW nexus 25mm ladderloc strap adjuster for length adjustment. It also has two looped bands of elastic to retain the loose ends of strapping. The elastic has many alternative uses, such as for retaining items on a helmet, modification for use as elastic waist strapping, retention of items on the back of a rucksack. New and unissued.
