Silva quality Swedish steel disc is marked with red N, white E, W and S with guide markings for NW, NE, SW and SE. Disc is mounted in an extra smooth bearing for reliable operation. Compass has an integrated hole for threading a thin wire or string that can then be used to attach to clothing, or hung around the neck. Compass face is luminous with markings in black and red for clarity.
