Only 15mm in diameter! This super compact button compass is lightweight and compact and is fitted with a watchstrap slider for Nato and fabric straps up to 22mm wide. Silva quality Swedish steel disc is marked with red N, white luminous E, W and S with luminous guide markings for NW, NE, SW and SE. Disc is mounted in an extra smooth bearing for reliable operation. Nice piece of kit. Fits neatly on the Traser p6500 which does not affect north. Reading is adequate given the size of the compass. The compass can be removed from the watch strap housing to turn it into a standard button compass. I wouldn't rely on it as my primary but does make a good backup.
