6.5x57R 1893 Mauser Inert Round FMJ Head

Designed by Mauser as a sporting cartridge, the 6.5x57R is a popular double barrelled rifle round for hunting medium and large game. The cartridge was developed from the military 7x57 Mauser round with the neck reduced to take the ballistically efficient 6.5mm bullet head. With a reduced recoil, the shooter is able to maintain a similar performance to .308 Winchester, but does not suffer from flinching when pulling the trigger or accuracy problems when shooting from an unstable position. The round is fitted with a copper FMJ head. Price is for ONE round only. Rounds may only ship with courier.

Extras available for this dummy round:

An new and unindented brass cup to fit into the primer pocket to give the appearance of a new, unfired round: Large Dummy Primer
Removal of the deactivated, inert primer from the round, leaving a hole or holes in the base that can be inspected to prove the round is inert and free from explosives: Depriming of Round
