The 357 magnum is derived from a lengthened 38 special cartridge with uprated Magnum powder charge and heavier head and takes advantage of the stronger modern revolver frames. Developed after 1934, the 357 Magnum is powerful enough for use in lever action rifles, but also available for revolvers. The 357 Magnum is fitted with a jacketed soft point head, or semi-jacketed head, where the lead tip is exposed so that it can expand faster on impact without shielding from the jacket. The two-tone appearance and snub nose make a distinctive impression. Price is for ONE round only. Rounds must ship with courier.
