British Army arctic windproof smock in DPM as issued to SAS, parachute troops and marine commandos. This is the updated version as issued from 2005 with the addition of Canadian type slotted buttons on all the pockets, inclusion of sleeve sized union jack over left arm pocket, two large dump pockets left and right. Features include: wired hood, drawstring neck and drawstring hood, four bellows pockets in front, arm pocket on left, reinforced elbows, Velcro cuffs, drawstring waist and hem, rank tab on front. The smock is zipped closed in the front with a chunky zip which is additionally covered by a Velcro flap. Shoulders and hood are two-ply for better protection from the elements. Smock is made of finely woven windproof twill and accepts waterproofing treatments. These smocks are geniune and brand new from a UK MoD contractor, NSN 8415-99-573-5266.
