An original WW2 German 7.92 (8x57) round which has been rendered completely inert and refitted with the original head. The case is late war steel, marked eel or hlc. These late war cartridges were made at a time of shortages and the use of lacquered steel reflects this. The dates on the casings are 1944 or 1945. Primer has been deactivated by firing to prove clear of explosives. Perfect for film, display, diorama or to add authenticity to a MG42, Gewehr 98 or Karabiner 98K. Cases are steel. Please note that all rounds have no propellant or live primers. This is a deactivated 7.92 bullet. Please note that price is for ONE round only. NB: All inert ammunition travelling must be shipped by courier.
