7mm Remington Magnum FMJ Inert Round

The 7mm Remington Magnum round was showcased alongside the (then) new Remington 700 bolt action rifle. Both were introduced in 1962, and the 7mm Remington Magnum offered a flatter ballistic trajectory than the highly popular all-rounder military cartridge, 30-06, which was widely adopted by sportsmen in North America due to its easy availability. This was due to the magnum power of the cartridge which was paired with the smaller bullet diameter and higher sectional density of the 7mm calibre bullet head. The 7mm Remington Magnum is popular for use in plains in North America and Africa, and its non-belted case design makes cartridge extraction quick and efficient - a necessary prerequisite when confronted with charging or stampeding large animals. Price is for ONE cartridge only. Dulled cartridges can be restored with metal polish or toothpaste. Rounds must travel by courier as they are prohibited from travel via standard mail.

Extras available for this dummy round:

An new and unindented brass cup to fit into the primer pocket to give the appearance of a new, unfired round: Large Dummy Primer
Removal of the deactivated, inert primer from the round, leaving a hole or holes in the base that can be inspected to prove the round is inert and free from explosives: Depriming of Round
